QUARTERLY GIVING FOCUS
We are dedicated to serving to our community through a variety of local support organizations. We collect food items year-round to help stock the shelves at the Reno County Food Bank. We also collect food and other necessary supplies to support the community outreach ministry of Emanuel Lutheran Church here in Hutchinson.
The Renew Crew is a group of volunteers from Trinity UMC who gather once a month to help our friends and neighbors in Hutchinson with yard work, painting, home repair, wheelchair ramp construction, and other projects. If you are interested in joining the Renew Crew or if you have any questions, please contact the church office.
SALTHAWK COMMUNITY SUPPORT
A group of local churches, civic organizations, and dedicated individuals banded together to form Salthawk Community Support in an effort to continue the vital work being done through this program.
THE EMERGENCY FOOD ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
Trinity is partnering with Emanuel Lutheran Church in the packing and distribution of commodity boxes for a program known as TEFAP—the Emergency Food Assistance Program. Between 300-350 boxes will be packed for distribution. It has been determined these boxes will serve approximately 850-900 people in low-income families. If you are interested in helping with this project or want more information, please contact the church office.
CIRCLES OF HOPE RENO COUNTY
Our church has supported the local Soup Kitchen for many years. We have many volunteers who coordinate, cook, serve, and deliver meals to our Hutchinson neighbors.
FAIR PRICE CLOTHING STORE
