I love words! I love reading, writing (using a fun font), talking (of course), and according to my family, I’ve never met a sign or a t-shirt with a meaningful saying on it that I didn’t like. You’ll also notice I like to use parentheses (a lot!).
Things I love even more than words: Jeff, my husband of over 30 years, my kids—Katie, Kobe (Katie's husband, Lauren, Cannon (Lauren's husband), and Brady.​ Jeff is the President at Underground Vaults and Storage. Katie and Kobe have started their careers and live here in Hutchinson. Lauren and Cannon live in the Kansas City area and Brady attends Kansas State University.  My newest love…my 1st grandchild, Sutton, who brings me so much JOY!

Some other things I think are cool: eating at fun restaurants or food my husband makes, watching a good Netflix series, planning a fun event, the beach, traveling, and snuggling with our dog, Kali.

I received my Bachelor of Arts from Bethany College in 1994 and taught Middle and High School Special Education for 6 years. Jeff and I joined Trinity in 1995 and soon became volunteers in the youth ministry program for 6 years. In 2003, I came on staff and worked for over 20 years in youth ministry, adding on children’s ministry in 2016.

June 1, 2026, I began serving as Trinity’s Director of Engagement. In this new role, my priority is to develop discipleship programs in which persons can identify their gifts to serve. I will also be engaging with the local community, developing relationships that provide opportunities in which our church can partner effectively with other organizations to make a positive change.
