I serve as the Director of Salthawk Community Support, which is Trinity’s outreach ministry to students at Hutchinson High School and Hutchinson Middle School 8. I believe that God started me on the path of working with children in high school and, for the most part, has never taken me off that path. 

I graduated from Emporia State University in 1994 and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Rehab Counseling Services. Most of my work experience has been non-profit child advocacy positions such as mental health, foster care, daycare, family support, child advocacy, and supportive counselor. 

I am married to Chris Byard, and we have four children. We also have two very spoiled cats!

Spending time with family is especially important to me. I also enjoy going to yard sales, thrifting, reading, surfing Pinterest, gardening, and decorating.
